There’s just something about creating a sim who wears Doc Martens and listens to Alice in Chains that I can’t get enough of. The ’90s were filled with flannel and angst, which is why I love The Sims 4 so much. I know the phrase “it was a cool time to be a kid” gets thrown around a lot, but in the case of grunge, it’s completely true. But be careful - we don’t want to have a repeat of what happened with punk rock.
And if that doesn’t convince you, go take a look at some of the classic grunge artists who are still recording and putting on tours. If you don’t believe me, listen to the new music being made now under the heading “alt rock” or “indie rock”.
